Instructors: Phil Montieth and helper Ellen Ridenour
Date: July 21 1 day workshop (4 hours)
Time: 1pm – 4pm
Cost: $40 all supplies included
Join EAL’s veteran artist/teacher duo, Phil and Ellen, for an afternoon of creative fun. Fine art printmaking involves the creation of a master plate from which multiple images are made. The artist will choose a Styrofoam or cardboard. The artist will design by cutting, etching or drawing onto the surface, inking then printing. Just think how much fun making your own cards to be mailed out.
Phil Montieth has taught pastels and printmaking for many years in regular classes as well as in workshops and lecture-demonstrations to all age levels. His teaching environments have been both in school classrooms as well as in studio classes. His work has been included in private and public collections in twelve States as well as the corporate collection of the Bayer Corp. and the Midwest Museum of American Art.
